Columbia magazine commissioned Jianan Liu to illustrate & animate a feature for their Fall issue. The article focuses on the success of the Columbia start-up lab, an office space and business incubator for alumni entrepreneurs.

Now based in Baltimore, Jianan grew up in Bejing before moving to the US to study at Syracuse University and Maryland Institute College of Art.
In her free time, she enjoys swimming, hiking and listening to 90s Pop Mandarin music.
