Daniel Egneus: Madame Figaro / Shopping Mall Fashion Exhibition
Daniel Egneus‘ stylish artwork is currently displaying at the Golden Hall shopping mall in Athens as part of a fashion illustration and photography exhibition. Fashion editors from Madame Figaro are presenting their favourite fashion trends for the new season and dressing celebrities in the Fall Winter 2016-2017 collection, available from the Golden Hall shopping centre. Daniel’s bespoke portraits of the participating celebrities will be published in the November issue of Madame Figaro.

Linda Sunderland & Daniel Egneus: Raven Child and the Snow-Witch
Raven Child and the Snow-Witch, the much-anticipated debut picture book from Linda Sunderland (Author) and Daniel Egneus (Illustrator) is available from 6th October, published by Templar.
Synopsis:
Anya lives with her mother and father in the shadow of the icy glacier where the Snow-Witch reigns. Every spring, Anya’s mother journeys to the glacier to pick the blue gentian flowers that grow there. But this time, she does not return. She has been captured by the Snow-Witch and imprisoned in the ice. Anya and her father set off with the ravens to rescue her. It’s a treacherous journey, and there is no knowing what they will find; but the strength of Anya’s love conquers all; the Snow-Witch is defeated and Anya’s mother is saved.
About the Author:
Linda Sunderland is represented by Good Illustration and Raven Child and the Snow-Witch is her first picture book. Linda was a primary school teacher for 28 years. After retirement she began writing stories and poetry, pursuing her interest in astronomy and taking piano lessons. In 2014 she gained an MA in Creative Writing (Contemporary Poetry) under the tutelage of, amongst others, the poets Jean Sprackland and Carol Ann Duffy. Her poetry portfolio was awarded a distinction. Linda lives in Burnley, Lancashire.
About the Illustrator:
Daniel Egneus is a highly regarded and revered fashion illustrator. Born in Sweden, Daniel has lived in Prague, London, Berlin, Bologna, Rome, Milan and has now made Athens his base. A prolific artist, he has had successful collaborations with clients such as Chanel, Marie Claire, Adidas, Nike, H&M, Time magazine, The Times, Harper’s Bazaar, Haagen-Dazs, BMW, Pepsi Cola and Lufthansa. He has published many books and illustrated selected poems by Alexander Pushkin. Daniel regularly organises contemporary art shows across Europe.

The Apocalypse (The Revelations) fully illustrated by Daniel Egneus will be released this October by Manesse/Random House. The Whore of Babylon, the seven trumpets, Satan, destruction of the earth, are featured across full colour double page spreads.

Daniel Egneus: Neil Gaiman – American Gods
Daniel Egneus was commissioned by Headline to illustrate Neil Gaiman’s ‘American Gods’ collection which includes two novels, ‘American Gods’ and ‘Anansi Boys’ (3rd November 2016) and two short stories ‘Monarch of the Glen’ and ‘Black Dog’. Neil Gaiman’s distinctive voice paired with Daniel Egneus’ exquisite artwork is a truly breathtaking combination. Extremely talented and prolific in their own fields, we are deliriously excited to promote this unique collection of work. Daniel Egneus: Dante Alighieri’s Vita Nuova/The New Life – The Folio Society
Daniel Egneus has illustrated a new edition of Dante Alighieri’s Vita Nuova/The New Life for The Folio Society. The delightful cover is bound in cloth, blocked with Daniel’s design in gold. Seven integrated mono and duo tone illustrations accompany the original Italian and translated English text running parallel. A ribbon marker and gilded page edges finish off this wonderful book. The original text was published in 1295 and this new edition sits proudly on any shelf.
