Joao Neves – Wine Enthusiast
Joao recently designed this typographic cover and created a series of spot illustrations for Wine Enthusiast’s ‘Best of the Year’ edition.
Here’s a fun overview of other work Joao has produced for the magazine over the past few months. He’s thoroughly enjoyed learning about each grape type and finding little nuances that make them unique.
Joao Neves – Cockburn’s Port
Joao thoroughly enjoyed this recent collaboration with Cockburn’s Port and we think resulting packaging design is full of artistic inspiration & playful surprises.
Joao Neves – Philadelphia magazine
We’re loving Joao‘s gorgeous calligraphic treatment for the cover of Philadelphia magazine’s December issue, ‘The Giving Back Guide’.
Joao Neves – Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine
Joao recently illustrated this article about the best banks for US citizens for Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine.
In his design, he explored the idea of having a suitcase filled with money from three different destinations: National Banks, Internet Banks and Credit Unions. Each sticker was then used as spot illustrations throughout the article.
Joao Neves – Design Museum
Joao had the pleasure of designing 4 covers for Lisbon’s Design Museum to protect the building during its renovation.
Awesome to see Joao’s artwork on display for the next couple of years in this historic part of the city!

Imagine yourself walking around the picturesque village of Hogsmeade and having a meal in your favourite pub or window shopping in the busy paths of Diagon-Alley. Wouldn’t it be great if you could get souvenirs to remember those places? That’s why Joao Neves decided to start this new series called “Fantastic Souvenirs”.

Vermentino is a type of grape that has a rich history in the south Mediterranean coast, so Joao took his inspiration from 1930s/40s vintage travel posters.
